Long weekend just started

Alexis watched Jumanji for the first time and, as expected, he was scared the whole time but not wanting to stop watching. I realized that his love for lions kind of diminished after this movie, LOL. It is a good feeling, though, when your son goes running towards where you are seated so you can hold him and seat him with you to "protect him". I love when he does that because it makes me feel special, then he was not in good moods because he was tired, he took a sort of long nap and then we headed off to the park once Cameron got home. Again, we had fun but this time we went to a different park. It was a 1/2 mile walk or a little over that, to get to the park. We had to cross a main street and then some smaller streets, Alexis did great. He will not like us to grab his hand when crossing but he did anyway because we told him to. Then we will let go of his hand once we were in the side walk and he would stay by our side. In the park, we ran and play chase, then he threw branches at me so I had to run so he couldn't reach me with them and we were laughing and enjoying each other while daddy had Lottie. After that we were so beat! but we sure had a nice time and we are trying to enjoy the weather as much as we can.
