No movies!
Today we woke up very early even though we went to bed really late. Alexis was tired but since my mom woke us up, we stayed up. We went to the park for two hours and played with balls, called birds, played with dirt, in the slide, and played with cars in the dirt. Charlotte was also enjoying it. It was cute to see Alexis running around but he did not do it nearly as much as usual, I was starting to worry but then I saw him rubbing his eyes and remembered that he was tired. We came home and I checked his pull ups, he did not pee! and he was eager to go to the bathroom. I was so proud of him. He did really good today with his potty training. We were so busy with so many different activities that he did not even ask to watch a movie until it was time for him to go to sleep. What a kiddo, he is amazing, he makes me smile every day with every little thing he does. I love my chubby!

Sleeping away!
Like always, Sundays are really hard for us. We took a really long nap, making Alexis go to be at 11 pm! Since he is being potty trained, we got a diaper off him while at my parents' house after church, well, he pooped in his underwear, not too much but enough to make me hate doing laundry. He is starting to eat a lot more since he was sick, he still looks skinny but cute like always. I love that he stays in the nursery without any problems and he loves doing what they do in there and sharing with others, which is something really rare for him. Well, I am tired so I must go to bed, I will post more pics. next time.

Gees!
We decided to go to the park during the evening and get some food for the gees. When we got to the park, Alexis noticed the poor things in the water and he got a little worried. We finally got him to get close to where they were and to throw some bread at them, they came really fast, and got really really close to us. He couldn't be happier, he was so happy to be able to give them food that he almost didn't care that they were about to attack him for food. It was so much fun, then he played with a almost 3 years old and they were having so much together that when it was time for both of them to go, they cried and extended their arms towards each other. Hahaha, you got to love when they get really dramatic! It was the perfect day, specially because I got to sleep until noon and Alexis got lots of play time with his daddy!

Driving!
We went to make a payment in the car and naturally, Alexis got really happy with so many cars around. There was one that was opened and he was quick enough to notice it. He got in and pretended to drive it! It was really cute, but it was hard to take him out of it. Then we had to do some shopping and again, it was an adventure with the two kids, good night!

"Oh No, duckies in the agua"
Today I did not see much of Alexis, when I woke up (12 noon) he was gone with my mom. She told me though, that in the way they saw a little lake with duckies and Alexis pointed out the car window and said: "oh no, oh man, help duckies in AGUA, oh man, OH NO" hahaha, you have to love that one. Poor kiddo, he must have thought that they were drowning or something, I tried to explain later that the duckies like to swim in the water but he was still a little worried! I love my goofy son.

Translation Please!
It was raining today and Alexis pointed at the window and said: "Wa-ter" I was like "what?, it is raining" then he said "Wa-ter, wa-ter" I asked "what are you saying, I don't understand?" He looked at me with an impatient look and said loud and clear "AGUA" right! he was saying water! I couldn't believe that he had to translate for me, but in my defense, he has never said water before, he always said agua. Funny how your kids can correct you most of the time and they suddenly acquired the parent look instead of you.

Just a normal day
We played a lot today, specially with Woody which he calls "poo poo" and sometimes Woody. It was amazing to see how he puts into play what he learns everyday. Like, talking to Woody to explain him that he is going to turn off the Luz so he can go a mimi and finishing with an "OK?" to make sure that Woody understood and accepted it. I would reply with my Woody voice and say "OK!" and then he would turn off the light! and that became a game, he will turn on the lights and greet Woody and then do the little explanation and turned them off again. It was really cute to see and it made me happy the fact that he knew what we do, and he understood really well what we try to do. I love that he is patient, and sweet even though he wants to do something against what we told him, and he doesn't do it. I love my little baby!
